Kudos to Texas

I know...I can't believe that I've uttered those three words either, but when a state does something good, even if most of the time they're bigoted, gun-toting jesus freaks', they deserve some credit, even from a latte sipping, commie, pinko liberal.

So, Texas - Well Done. I think that is absolutely brilliant that the Texas State Gov't has offered to house the refugees from New Orleans in the months ahead. What's better is that Texas immediately offered to open up Public Schools to the refugees' children and offered to provide them with textbooks, transportation & lunches!

That's what being a good neighbor is all about! I hope that in the future when other areas in the country face natural disasters, their neighboring states will head the Texan example and follow suit.
