Jules-y from the Block

The best professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law is Jules Lobel - hands down! The guy is brilliant, his classes are interesting and entertaining, he takes cases that confront really important issues, even though he knows he'll probably lose - he's just awesome.

So I've made it my perogative to basically take every class that he teaches and schedule accordingly - I mean who needs Lawyering Ethics anyway.

This term, I've got him for International Law & Foreign Affairs and the Constitution.

So far, both classes are proving to be fantastic.

Today in FA & the Const. 100 minutes went by before I looked at the clock on my computer. Great discussion about Standing as it relates to members of Congress and on Treaty termination.

Added bonus: there was a point when my favorite conservative conceded that even he couldn't defend Reagan's actions. This is of course because he's a pretty principled guy and Reagan.....well, not so much.
