Lastly

Tonight's Alternative Bar Review was fantastic.

Tons of great people, good turnout, lots of my straight friends - not getting bought drinks......

Good times & I was really happy with the outcome.....in fact I indulged myself in a 'zen' moment - unfortunately that was very short-lived, but whatever, all's well that ends well.

So, maybe I overreacted a bit today, maybe I was being too cynical, maybe my friends are perfect....or at least as perfect as I need them to be......

Tonight, I was expected to find a bunch of people tossed in a bar out of a sense of obligation, but that's not what I found.....I found a bunch of great people getting together for a good time, and nobody seemed to give a shit that we were in a gay bar.

I love having my expectations shattered, and I love knowing great people.......especially when they probably haven't read anything on this blog in the past 14 hours....and once they do, they'll be like "Damn - that kid's a headcase!"
