Neighborhood Crisis

So I just had dinner with a friend of mine, and I saw his new apartment. He, like all thinking people, is calling Friendship home - in just a few short days. The place is great - it's huge: 3 bedrooms w/ laundry facilities & a Front and Back Porch - it is seriously twice the size of my humble abode. But wait there's a catch - we will both be paying the same rent. Yes that's right - you can get an apartment twice as big for the same money just a few short blocks away.

Naturally, I'm super-happy for him, but I must say that I'm a little jealous (as I am whenever a friend finds a great place) and now I'm rethinking the brilliance of my decision to renew my lease. Alas, what's done is done, and it's not like I could break my lease and move (the penalties are outrageous), besides that would be a huge hassle - I would probably have to hire movers.
