Fucking CSO

Since I'm annoyed and looking for anything to lash out against - Career Service Office- it's your turn!

When you're doing the dance of looking at law schools - they (the law schools) all try to tell you that a legal education only opens doors and expands your job options. Which is a nice thought - because the 'typical' law job fucking sucks - 60 hour weeks, billable hours, being shit on by partners, repetitive, boring, mindless work.

Alas, what the fuck does Career Services do in order to aid law students in finding non-traditional legal jobs - NOTHING. Here is their plan/strategy.

If you are in the top 25% of the class - go to a firm
If you're not - go to government
If you want to save the world - go to hell

Oh yeah - if you have student loans - be in the top 25% of your class.

If you're interested in something else - find a job fair and go to it.

One last tip - if your resume is the least bit unique (stylistically) - change it until it stinks of conformism and block letters.
